After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M in 2013, James started his career in and around serious and educational videogames. He has developed and contributed to videogame projects as freelance, research lab engineer, and software engineer while also studying for a Masters of Science in Visualization. James has built and shipped back-end processes, data APIs, web applications, and data extraction and ingestion services. This experience has given him a robust knowledge of distributed systems, network communication, high availablity architectures and operational best practices.
